Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Bios and bootloader design, software and firmware development and modifications with focus on x86 and ARM architecture.
Essential Job Functions (include, but are not limited to the following):
- Create, modify and improve Bios on x86 and bootloader for ARM on our modules and systems.
- Support customer integration efforts by adapting and learning the customer application and assisting on 2nd level support.
- Document, track and monitor current bios development efforts with Adlink standard tools (GitHub, Jira, Agile, etc.).
- Cooperate with global Bios Teams to fulfill project and product firmware/software requirements, within the proposed schedule.
- Collaboration with FAE, SA, PM, and the EMEA sales to support customer firmware request or product integration.
- Supplying technical software expertise and feedback to customers and internal inquiries.
- Support the RMA department on 2nd Level firmware related RMA requests.
- Support the local Line Manager on technical inquiries and DEF Gate reports.
- Cooperate with the Sales and Marketing Team to build POC units, prototypes or exhibitions samples.
- Provide technical assistance during meetings or customer visits, in house or onsite.
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years as Bios/Bootloader Developer, AMI Aptio V development.
- Experience with EDK II & ACPI/ASL, also UEFI & ACPI specification.
- Knowledge of x86 bios design and ARM bootloader.
- Strong software skills in Assembler, C, Linux, Windows.
- Bachelor or equivalent levels of work experience.
- Technical Expertise on Hardware and Software Solutions.
- Experience in working with customers on industrial software solutions.
- Experience with international business practices (Asia,US,CEE).
- Basics in Python, Git.
