Our Approach to Product Security

Given today’s digital landscape, we recognize that security is not a one-size-fits-all solution, that’s the reason we keep improving our security measures to the unique characteristics of each product. Our dedicated team of experts works tirelessly to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement safeguards that protect against a wide range of threats.

Product Security Incident Response and Communication

The ADLINK Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is a global team that manages the awareness, investigation and internal coordination of security vulnerability issue related to ADLINK products, solutions, and services. ADLINK PSIRT is a focal point for customers and vendors to report potential ADLINK product security vulnerabilities. This team will coordinate with ADLINK product and solutions teams to investigate and identify the appropriate response plan, maintain communication between all involved parties, both internal and external as a core team of ADLINK product vulnerability response process.

Please contact psirt@adlinktech.com immediately if any individual or organizations that are experiencing a product security issue. To assist the investigation, please provide as much information as possible, including:

Organization and contact name.
ADLINK Products and versions affected.
Description of the potential vulnerability.
Supporting technical details (such as steps to reproduce the issue, system configuration, traces, sample packet capture).
Information about known exploits/attack code.

Product Security Incident Response Handling Process

Procedure	Description
1. Receive, log & report	ADLINK PSIRT receives a report of a potential vulnerability from a third party, ADLINK PSIRT logs the issue with the supporting details and provides the tracking number to the vulnerability reporter. ADLINK PSIRT notifies the appropriate ADLINK product teams of the potential vulnerability for analysis.
2. Analyze	The appropriate product team attempts to reproduce the issue to verify whether it is a vulnerability.
3. Investigate & determine mitigation	After the initial analysis, the vulnerability undergoes further investigation by the product team to determine the underlying cause and possible methods of exploitation. The team completes the remediation plan for the vulnerability, taking into consideration the affected versions.
4. Determine communication	Once the remediation is available, ADLINK intends to notify the affected customers about the vulnerability using either targeted communications or issue a public Security Bulletin.
5. Issue notification & distribute fix	When ADLINK discloses the vulnerability publicly, the Bulletin will include details such as the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Base score and vector, a reference to the assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifier, remediation for the affected offering(s) and other relevant links that may cover additional information.
6. Post-release	ADLINK PSIRT allows to share findings with our Engineering team(s) to help minimize similar vulnerabilities in future ADLINK offerings.
