Optical Bonding
Optical bonding is a technology that adheres the LCD module and panel together. With optical bonding, the transmission of light is increased to improve the visibility of the monitor and reduce glare from external light sources to provide optimum image viewing with increased contrast ratio. In addition, eliminating the gap between the LCD module and panel can increase the screen’s resistance to scratches, dust and fluids.

Anti-Glare Coating
Anti-glare coating uses diffusion mechanisms to break up the light reflected off the surface. Diffusion works by reducing the coherence of the reflected image, making these unwanted images unfocused to the eye, thereby reducing their interference with viewing of the intended image displayed by the monitor and improving readability.

Galvanically Isolated I/O Design
ADLINK medical panel computers are also equipped with 4kV isolation protection for LAN, COM and USB ports for additional safety to prevent electrical shocks from damaging the unit and to keep current leakage from harming patients connected to the device in medical environments.

Fanless and Hygienic Design
Our medical panel computers and monitors have fully-sealed, gap-free housings and a fanless design to prevent accumulation of microbes in order to maintain the hygienic conditions, in contrast to conventional monitors and computers that have with gaps in their enclosures and connector openings, as well as openings for air ventilation.

Tests have shown that these conventional computing devices can expel micro-organisms that have accumulated inside and are not protected against exposure to chemicals. In an OR, ICU or other sterile environment, this poses an extremely high risk of infection.
