ADLINK Technology Inc., a global leader in edge computing, launched its new series of MLC-M medical panel PCs. Particularly light and slim, yet extremely powerful, the MLC-M is ideal for mobile use on medical carts or at nursing stations. 11th generation Intel® Core™ processors provide the computing performance needed to effortlessly run high-resolution image processing software, as well as documentation applications such as HIS, RIS, and PDMS.
Superior hygiene
The MLC-M medical panel PC is designed to meet the highest hygiene standards with a fully sealed, screwless aluminium housing and fanless cooling system to protect against dust and liquid intrusion and reduce the accumulation and spread of germs. With an IP54 rating, it is easy to disinfect and reduces the risk of smear infections. The touchscreen is easily disabled for cleaning via touch button on the front of the device.
Type and number of I/O can be customized for specific applications; and the PCAP multi-touch panel (which can be operated with surgical gloves), ensures user-friendly operation via four integrated, illuminated control buttons.
Empowering medical visualization
With its space-saving design, the MLC-M all-in-one panel PC can be utilized in operating rooms, intensive care units, emergency rooms and nursing stations. As a central control system or patient status console, it can be connected to medical devices in any location around the hospital, recording vital signs and medication in real-time. At the bedside, it can also display images to support diagnosis and treatment discussions with patients.
The MLC-M series is available now and will be supported for at least five years. It is compliant with FCC, UL, ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 standards and can be ordered by any medical facility. OEM variants for medical device manufacturers and suppliers of mobile cart solutions can be supplied on request.
