ADLINK’s Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture is an industrial-grade platform designed to support the native virtualization requirements for software-defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), and Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), while integrating a wide range of the latest hardware acceleration technologies to boost the processing of network packets and video streams. All this functionality is offered as an open and modular compute architecture, allowing users to redefine resource allocation for cloud computing applications. This new architecture for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms features a design aimed at optimizing performance, cost and space requirements for the next generation of networking and cloud solutions.

What is the Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture Alliance?
ADLINK’s flexible, modular and open computing architecture, the Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture, enables resource allocation on demand to meet the key requirements of cloud computing. This Alliance allows members to share their resources in order to accelerate the design and development of products based on Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture standards. ADLINK invites manufacturers of hardware (including silicon, IO cards and chassis), software and middleware, as well as system integrators and solution providers to join this eco-system allowing them to shorten time to market and provide innovative products and solutions to their customers.
What are the benefits of joining?
The Open Compute Project (OCP) and the Telecom Infrastructure Project (TIP) have recruited many tier1 companies in numerous vertical industries. Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture’s open architecture covers small to large scalable platforms for both OCP and TIP models. By joining this Alliance, members can share their designs for hardware, middleware, API interfaces and even complete solutions. Multiple events are held globally to promote Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture and its range of versatile solutions. Members are able to participate in co-marketing activities to demonstrate their solutions directly to customers.
