ADLINK is now part of the ROS 2 Technical Steering Committee (TSC) organized by Open Robotics. The ROS 2 TSC sets the technical direction for open robotics and is made of organizations actively contributing to the development and success of ROS 2. Our contributions are focused on: ROS Middleware (RMW) improvements for flexibility & performance via OMG DDS capabilities; ROS 2 contributions for open source Eclipse Cyclone DDS and Vortex OpenSplice; and working to establish an Edge AI Working Group with fellow TSC members.
The HDBaseT Alliance is a not-for-profit organization tasked with promoting and advancing HDBaseT technology as the global standard for multi-signal, digital connectivity. ADLINK is a contributing member of the HDBaseT organization, chairing the Medical Working Group with a focus to develop HDBaseT solutions for the medical industry. With simplified cabling, HDBaseT enables reliable high-throughput long-range data transmission in real time, making 4K videos, high-resolution medical images, and cross-system information integration possible for fully digital integrated healthcare and thus improving workflows and patient experience.
ADLINK currently serves as a Supplier Member of the Open Data Center Committee (ODCC). ODCC was initially co-sponsored by a few leading enterprises and institutions including Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, China Telecom, China Mobile, CAICT (the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology) and Intel. ODCC focuses on integrating advanced research contents in the data center domain, aiming to create an open data center platform and promote industry development and standardization.
ADLINK currently serves as a Premium Member of the Autoware Foundation with ADLINK CEO Jim Liu serving on its board of directors. As a non-profit organization supporting open-source projects enabling self-driving mobility, the Autoware Foundation creates synergies between corporate development and academic research, enabling autonomous driving technology for everyone. ADLINK has been actively contributing to the foundation by leveraging its deep expertise in open source software and AI-centric, in-vehicle computing platforms. ADLINK has also been closely collaborating with other member companies to build a robust ecosystem that helps accelerate technology innovation for autonomous driving.
