The cExpress-ASL is a COM Express® COM.0 R3.1 Type 6 Compact size module featuring up to 8 core, 64-bit real-time-capable (with Intel TCC and TSN support) Intel® Atom™ x7000RE and x7000C processors (formerly “Amston Lake”). The cExpress-ASL combined with soldered-down memory and extreme temperature option, is specifically engineered for customers who need entry-level computing with real-time prowess, a balanced cost structure, and extended product life support for ruggedized edge solutions running 24/7.
The cExpress-ASL module supports up to 16GB LPDDR5 at 4800 MT/s with in-band ECC to provide excellent responsiveness and performance. In addition, it can provide up to three independent displays, all of which can be DDI, LVDS, eDP, and/or VGA.
Headless SKUs, x7000C, with higher HFM for compute intensive workload, combining with Intel TCC/TSN and 2.5GbE Ethernet port make it well fit for entry network and edge product with software defined network security
The module features a single onboard 2.5 GbE Ethernet port and up to eight physical PCIe Gen3 x1 lanes, maximum four USB 3.2 ports (build option) and other USB 2.0 ports, and two SATA 6Gb/s ports.
