CompactPCI® PlusIO (PICMG 2.30)
CompactPCI® PlusIO (PICMG 2.30) is an extension of the existing CompactPCI Standard that standardizes PCI Express, Ethernet, SATA/SAS and USB at the rear J2 connector.
CompactPCI PlusIO is 100% compatible with CompactPCI while offering a soft transition to future CompactPCI Serial architectures with high-speed fixed rear I/O pin assignment that focuses on modern, fast serial point-to-point connections. PICMG 2.30 CompactPCI PlusIO defines a standardized J2 pin definition and Ultra Hard Metric (UHM) connector for fast serial signals to the Rear Transition Module (RTM) or the backplane, and allows for interoperability between manufacturers.

*CompactPCI PlusIO blades may not support all J2 I/O signals. Refer to the product datasheet for detailed specifications.
