ADLINK unveiled a complete line of PCI digital I/O cards that are compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) initiative of the European Union (EU). ADLINK's portfolio of RoHS-compliant, PCI digital I/O cards include high-speed DIO, isolated DIO, relay cards, and timer/counter cards. "While most ADLINK data acquisition and control products fall under Category 9 of the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive and are exempted from the July 1 implementation, ADLINK has promptly complied with RoHS to ensure current and potential customers that our products can be safely and quickly integrated with their RoHS-compliant platforms," James Gau, ADLINK Vice-President for Test and Measurement Segment explained. Aiming to provide efficient sales and technical support to its growing Korean clients, ADLINK recently opened its first sales office in Seoul, South Korea with ADLINK Vice-President for Sales Bob Tsao as country manager.
