What is MATLAB®?
MATLAB® is a software package of The MathWorks, Inc. MATLAB®
integrates mathematical computing and visualization to provide a
flexible environment for technical computing. It is widely used
by engineers and scientists to analyze the data and simulate the
system.
PCIS-MTLB Overview
PCIS-MTLB is the MATLAB® driver for ADLINK NuDAQ PCI-bus data
acquisition cards. If you work measured data, the PCIS-MTLB makes
it easier to integrate all your test, analysis, and visualization
applications within the MATLAB® environment. PCIS-MTLB allows
you to easily customize your acquisitions and incorporate the powerful
analysis and visualization features of MATLAB® into your design.
PCIS-MTLB provides a full set of functions for controlling and
communicating with NuDAQ PCI-bus data acquisition cards. The functions
are similar to PCIS-DASK functions. Therefore if you are familiar
with PCIS-DASK API, you do not need to spend lots of time in learning
the functions again.
How Does the Interface Work?
PCIS-MTLB exists in the type of a MATLAB® toolbox in your system.
It is a set of MEX-file functions that you can execute from the
command line or through MATLAB® programs. You can simply call
the functions in PCIS-MTLB by the same way as you call the MATLAB®
built-in functions. Now, with the PCIS-MTLB, you can communicate
with, and control, your NuDAQ PCI-bus data acquisition cards using
MATLAB commands.
