with various CompactPCI alternatives including high-density 8U blade servers,
high-performance 4U IP media gateways, 1U PSTN/VoIP platforms, and the
most powerful single slot, low power CPU modules, and when integrated
with NMS CG6500C, ADLINK's 1U CompactPCI platform becomes the top-most
highest-density and carrier-grade VoIP processing platform available,
supporting 16 T1/E1, 480 ports all in 1U.
The CompactPCI standard was formed by PICMG in 1994. Due to the completeness
of the various certification standards for computer and industrial equipment,
the CompactPCI standard puts more added value to conventional PCI, thus
