ADLINK Technology Showcases Computer-on-Module Products Designed for Embedded Applications
Also on display are products from a full range of form factors including CompactPCI SBCs, Industrial SBCs and motherboards, and AdvancedTCA blades and systems.

ADLINK Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 6166), will exhibit its current line of embedded computing platforms and solutions based on latest Intel® processors and chipsets at Embedded Technology 2009. Special emphasis will be placed on demonstrating ADLINK's new ultra mobile computer-on-modules and cost-effective CompactPCI® blades which support dual independent displays at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall, Japan, Booth B-08, from Nov 18th to 20th.
At Embedded Technology 2009, ADLINK will highlight the overall advantages of its computer-on-module (COM) product line. ADLINK offers a full-range of COM products with comprehensive COM design and manufacturing support. To allow customers to get their products to market in the shortest time possible, ADLINK provides schematics, mechanical drawings, design guides, and R&D support. ADLINK also provides product review services, BIOS customizations and thermal solution services. Show attendees will see the full benefits provided by ADLINK's comprehensive COM products and services for markets requiring embedded and portable application solutions.
Noteworthy products on display this year are the ADLINK Express-ATC (size: 95 x 95 mm) and nanoX-ML (size: 84 x 55 mm). Both modules are members of ADLINK's ultra low power COM family. The Express-ATC is based on the Intel® Atom™ processor N270 and Mobile Intel® 945GSE Chipset, while the nanoX-ML is based on the Intel® Atom™ processor Z5xx and US15W chipset. The small-size, cost-effective Express-ATC and nanoX-ML allow customers to access embedded markets and portable applications with modest investments. At the Embedded Technology show site, ADLINK will also present live demos of these modules. Customers will be able to see ADLINK's latest achievements in COM products in action.
Meanwhile, ADLINK demonstrates Matrix MXE-1000 and MXC-2000 series of rugged and fanless I/O platforms based on the Intel® Atom™ N270. The MXE-1000 provides embedded I/O functions and the MXC-2000 series offers configurable PCI and/or PCI Express? slots. The compact design and comprehensive I/O of the MXE-1000 make it ideal for intelligent transportation, facility management, and environment monitoring applications, and the MXC-2000 - fully compatible with ADLINK's full line of PCI/PCI Express data acquisition, digital I/O, motion control, and image capture cards - is perfectly suited for industrial automation, factory control, and test instrumentation applications.
Besides, the USB-3488A is a cost-effective IEEE-488 GPIB to USB interface controller; it is both compact in size (3.2 x 2.4 x 1.1") and lightweight (180 g) for greater portability. The USB-3488A is fully IEEE 488.1 and IEEE 488.2 compatible and provides the benefits of "plug-and-play" USB connection for simple direct connection of GPIB instruments to a laptop computer.
Other products on display at ADLINK's booth include the cPCI-6965, a 6U CompactPCI® blade featuring the Mobile Intel® GME965 Express chipset, low power Intel® Core™2 Duo 2.2 GHz, and up to 4 GB dual channel capable DDR2 RAM. The cPCI-6965 supports integrated graphics with 3D graphics engine and dual independent DVI ports, making it an ideal solution for factory automation, transportation, and medical equipment systems.
At Embedded Technology 2009, ADLINK will also display a sampling from its broad range of product lines, such as PICMG® 1.0/1.3 SBCs, PICMG® 3.0 AdvancedTCA® processor blades, switch blades and systems.
