ADLINK Technology Inc., the leading manufacturer of PC-based industrial computers for test & measurement, automation, and communications, today is pleased to announce the release of DAQBench 2.4, its next generation ActiveX control objects software for measurement and SCADA/HMI applications. DAQBench 2.4 is compatible with ActiveX control containers such as VB, VC++, Delphi, C++ Builder, etc. By using DAQBench's various ActiveX controls including user interface, data analysis, data integration, data acquisition and SCADA controls, users can easily develop a powerful and flexible measurement or SCADA/HMI application tool.
The newly added PLC OPC servers in DAQBench 2.4 will allow users to expand SCADA applications from a PC-based domain to a PLC system domain. By leveraging the latest OPC standard, DAQBench's SCADA controls now can support all kinds of hardware as long as its OPC server is available. The DAQBench 2.4 SCADA package includes the OPC servers for Mitsubishi PLCs, Omron PLCs, AB PLCs, Modbus, Modbus TCP and M-system DCS.
In addition to all the functions from its previous version, DAQBench 2.4 has also been implemented with several new and improved functions including a new AlarmReactor control to react to alarm conditions via audio path, pop-up window, e-mail and SMS, 15 user-interface objects in 100 different display styles, and an extended support for popular PLCs. DAQBench 2.4 also has localized versions for Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
With its numerous improved features and expanded applications functions, DAQBench 2.4 will surely have much greater benefits to its users. DAQBench 2.4 is currently available for shipments.
