Introduction
The ALS-3004B is a compact yet powerful Internet security platform
that is specifically designed for Internet secure connectivity. It is
suitable for SOHO, SMB, and ROBO segments. The system supports
CompactFlash for use in installing OS and Internet security
applications. In addition, the ALS-3004B can support system memory
up to 1GB DDR SDRAM. Both CompactFlash and SDRAM can
be accessed and replaced for software upgrades through an easily
removable cover. There are ten LED indicators on the front panel
display which monitor power status, LAN activities and LAN links.
For local system management, maintenance and diagnostics, a 9-
pin, RS-232 serial port is displayed on the rear panel. The ALS-
3004B has space reserved for an optional slim-type 2.5" IDE
HDD. It is FCC and CE compliant.
