ETX-IV266 supports a ULV Mobile Celeron® or LV Mobile Intel® Pentium® III-M in uFCBGA package, soldered on the board. The board's main chipset is VIA's popular CLE266. The ETX-IV266 supports DDR based SODIMM's. The onboard 200-pin SODIMM socket supports high speed DDR266 type SODIMM memory modules that can accommodates up to 1GB. The VIA CLE266 incorporates a VGA AGP controller, an EIDE controller supporting both PIO and UDMA modes, four USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, one parallel port (SPP/ECP/EPP) shared with FDD, one PS2 keyboard/mouse interface, AC '97 audio interface and power management functionality. Additionally onboard are an 10/100Base-T Ethernet port, watchdog timer, an AC97 Audio Codec and support for LVDS based Flat Panel displays and TV-out for PAL/NTSC. The ETX-IV266 standard supports embedded features such as RS-232 console redirection, CMOS EEPROM backup for BIOS settings for battery-less operation, USB boot/legacy and PXE.
