Introduction
The aTCA-3400 is a 20-port 10GbE AdvancedTCA® multilayer fabric switch blade, based on Broadcom BCM56800 and BCM56312 switch silicons with an Intel® Pentium® M 1.4 GHz COM Express™ processor. It supports up to thirteen 10GbE XAUI links for 14-slot PICMG® 3.1 option 9 fabric interconnect and also eight 10GbE SFP+ egress ports for external access.
For base interface switching, aTCA-3400 provides fifteen GbE ports for a 16-slot system, with six egress GbE ports and one 10GbE SFP+ uplink port for front panel access. With standard COM Express™ footprint as a control plane processor, aTCA-3400 can equips with spread range processing power, from Intel® Celeron® M to the latest Core™2 Duo processors depending on the application demands.
