| Why I should use ADLINK's DAQ cards? |
ADLINK provides innovative DAQ products with global support and excellent price/performance ratio. ADLINK is another good alternative for your T&M applications.
| I am currently using NI's LabVIEW™ with NI's DAQ cards. Why should I change? |
NI's LabVIEW™ is a very power software tool for developing T&M applications. But there are lots of vendors worldwide who also make good DAQ products and some of them provide drivers adequate for LabVIEW™. You have choices to save the total cost of your system with the same LabVIEW™ driver support.
| Do I need to re-write my LabVIEW™ program if I change to use ADLINK's DAQ cards? |
Most of your applications can be continuatively executed by simply replace the NI-DAQ VIs with corresponding VIs in DAQ-LVIEW PnP. For applications using advanced VIs that implements hardware-dependent functions, some minor modifications may be needed. By thoughtfully designing our VIs, we are confident that over 90% of your program can be preserved.
| I am not familiar with ADLINK's DAQ cards, what should I do? |
The appearance of the concept of "Virtual Instrument" is to help users to ignore the hardware difference and treat each DAQ card as a set of diversified functions. That means, either NI's or ADLINK's DAQ cards are a set of AI/AO/DIO/Counter in LabVIEW™. The way you program NI is just the same as the way you program ADLINK.
| NI just released their new LabVIEW™ 8.5. Does DAQ-LVIEW PnP work in LabVIEW™ 8.5? |
Yes, we've tested these VIs in LabVIEW™ 8.5 Express and they worked well.
| What' ADLINK's policy for supporting LabVIEW™ users? |
There is no doubt that LabVIEW™ is the most power tool for T&M applications and lots of people enjoy it. ADLINK will continuously provide LabVIEW™ drivers for our products to let users take advantage of the powerful LabVIEW™ and ADLINK's innovative data acquisition products.
| Does ADLINK provide the express VI? |
ADLINK currently does not provide the express VI in LabVIEW™. But we have provided complete LabVIEW™ examples with our DAQ-LVIEWPnP Plug and Play drivers to help user quickly develop their DAQ applications.
